Dr. Rachel Baniecke
Dr. Alicia Murphy
Dr. Alicia Murphy grew up in Carthage, New York and graduated from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2019. Before that she completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from State University of New York at Geneseo in 2015. Dr. Murphy is a large animal doctor with a particular interest in production animal medicine (including dairy cattle, beef cattle and small ruminants) and cattle reproduction. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her husband Tom, be outside, particularly for biking and hiking. More indoor hobbies include reading and cooking.
Dr. Christopher Nord
Dr. Nord joined the MLVC Milaca clinic in 2002 and became a co-owner in 2007. He received his BA in biology from St. Olaf College and is a graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Nord works primarily on large animals but enjoys spending his free time with his wife; two children; their dogs, Eddie and Lena; and cat, Socrates, at home. His special interests lie in bovine and equine herd health, preventative medicine, and surgeries.

Brandi
Brandi is a large animal technician who joined the Foley clinic in July 2018. She is from Wisconsin where both her grandparents were farmers.
She graduated from Kirkwood Community College in Iowa with an Associate of Arts degree (emphasis in Horse Science) and an Associate of Science degree in Veterinary Technology. Her favorite animals are dogs and horses and her interests include behavior & nutrition. She lives with her dog Riley, and cat Irish. Her hobbies include spending time outdoors, reading, baking, & video games.
Katie
Katie is the large animal veterinary technician with the Milaca and Foley clinics. She received her BS degree in animal science from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities in 2006, and has been a die-hard Golden Gopher all her life. She completed an AAS degree in veterinary technology in 2011 from Argosy University and joined MLVC that same year after obtaining her veterinary technician certification. When she is not working with the “big guys,” Katie spends time with her Australian Kelpie, Aberdeen; her cat, Belle; and Shetland pony, Rusty. She also loves spending lots of quality time with her little nephew, family, and friends; as well as reading, music, and being outdoors.
