Cat & Dog Euthanasia
Saying goodbye to a pet is never easy, because a pet is more than just an animal; it’s a member of the family, and you’ve probably shared many special memories together. We feel the same way at Mille Lacs Veterinary Group, which is why we offer our end-of-life services with compassion, understanding, and professionalism. Remember, we’re pet owners, too, so we know how difficult a time this is.
Cat & dog euthanasia is often chosen when a pet’s quality of life is poor. Of course, making the decision to euthanize your pet is entirely up to you. But we’ll be glad to assess your pet’s overall health and life quality, and help you make the decision. If euthanasia is your choice, please feel free to bring as many or as few people with you when you bring your companion in. Our goal is to make this process as comforting as possible for everyone involved.
What to Expect
When you bring your pet to us for the final time, we’ll discuss your aftercare desires, whether you choose to bring your pet back home with you or choose to use our local and reputable cremation options. We’ll then discuss the euthanasia process in as much or as little detail as you’d like. We know that every pet owner grieves differently, and we’ll gladly respect your wishes. You/your family can choose to be present when your pet passes, or you can leave knowing that your pet is in capable and compassionate hands. Please feel free to ask us any questions you have about the process.
If you’re visiting this page, it’s likely because you have a pet that’s nearing the end of their life journey. Please accept our condolences during this time. We hope you and your family can find peace after your companion passes on. Please also feel free to contact us if you have any questions about our pet euthanasia services.
